Which exact post text did you use?

The post text was a simple alphanumeric text, like 'abc'.

You login to ACP, download smile package (*.pak), open with WordPad, fine and change some special characters (ex: " -> "). Then save, upload and install this package.

kellanved: this may be really caused by the convertor - else "unkown modified" would be returned. Therefore, assigning to you. :) I am fixing the other issue with # in smiley names.
