I believe we have a bug when selecting the option that denies a person viewing the memberlist or profile. The ‘Profile’ button should be made invisible rather than an error message popping up. I believe it is a ‘bug’ and not a ‘feature request’ for the following reason.

When the option is turned off, names are greyed out on the index page. This is to prevent people clicking on them.
When the option is turned off, the memberlist is made invisible. This is proper and consistent with point #1.

However, when reading a topic, individual profile button remain clickable. This is a bug because it is inconsistent with the other methods. (They should all be invisible)
