When creating a new forum that is a subforum of another, the default option for permission copy is the parent forum. If you manually select "do not copy permissions" and submit, you will get a screen telling you how much easier it is if you copy permissions from another forum.
If I went through the work of selecting it manually in the first place, I don't want to have to do it again.
