Beta 3 - date incorrect for spiders/robots (fix completed in vcs)

I installed B3 last night, and all went fine. This morning when I logged on, I noticed that the Googlebot had visited the page. But it has the date/time incorrect.

It lists the visit as Mon Nov 13, 2006 1:44 pm, but since its just 8:30am here, 1:44pm hasn't occured yet.....

Maybe the bot has another timezone assigned.

Maybe, unless its overseas, I can't imagine that it would be 5 hours ahead........

Plus, shouldn't it be that the date/time entered into the database on my machine should be based on MY time, not another systems timezone (I'm not sure how you would find that out easliy and quickly....)

did you check the DATE? There at least was a problem some time ago that the time was only updated if the session expired

Well, I know the date/time is set correctly on the forum because when I just browse to the page, the correct info for my location is displayed.

The bots time should be holding the same time as users and accordingly adjusted - the same way you post messages, this time get adjusted on viewing the post too. I can't imagine how this could have happened, the bots last visit can be seen as normal post time adjusted to the current users time on display.

I looked at the sessions code again and added an additional item to make sure the users lastvisit time for the bot entry get updated, maybe it is fixing this glitch.
