Support and Styles Teams

Postby Graham » Sun Jul 17, 2005 9:09 pm

phpBB has a number of teams whose members are tasked with providing support for different tasks related to phpBB and we are currently looking to expand some of these teams.

If you feel that you've got the skills outlined below and want to help with phpBB, keep reading.

Support Team
The Support Team has the tremendous job of providing support to the very large phpBB community. Such tasks include writing Knowledge Base articles, answering support requests in the phpBB Support forum on the board as well as questions in the IRC channel, #phpBB on irc.freenode.net. We are looking for people who feel they can dedicate several hours per week, know phpBB and its code well, and are able to conduct themselves appropriately as they are typically the first ones people will meet.

For queries and applications related to the Support Team, please contact Techie-Micheal (Support Team Leader).

Styles Team
The Styles Team is responsible for validating all submissions to our Styles database and also for providing support with design queries posted in our styles forums.
We are primarily looking for people who are able to spend a several hours per week on validation. A good knowledge of web design and styling phpBB is desirable.
For queries and applications related to the Styles Team, please contact Graham (Convertor Team Leader and acting Styles Team Leader)

Applications close in 2 weeks, when we will review the applications and make our decisions over the following weeks.
