Need help on Smileys display on post topic page

Post by animematsuri »

Your board's URL: http://www.animematsuri.net/forum
Version of phpBB: 3.0.2
Was this a fresh install or a(n) update/upgrade/conversion (please be specific)? fresh
Did you use an automated wizard provided by your host to install phpBB? yes
MODs you have installed: site warning, video bbcode
When the problem started:
Your level of expertise (be honest): not much, just started using phpbb

Additionally, you may wish to provide the following (where applicable)
Template(s) used: melankoia
Language(s) used: eng
Version of PHP used: 3.0.2
Database and version used: don't know

Problem is that i have found a bunch of smilies that i like from msn-smiley.net.
And i have uploaded it and everything works fine, BUT, since there were like 50 or so smileys, they all show up next to the post window.
This made it look really bad and it extended the page since the smileys occupied a lot of space. ie. So the 'save', 'preview', submit', & 'cancel' buttons were 2 pages down from the post window.
Is there a way to limit the number of smileys that show on the post topic page?

I did find a topic on smileys, the bottom of the article mentions how to do it but that only applied to phpbb2.
It would be nice to seperate the smileys into say 3 or 4 pages so that it displays about 12 to 15 of them at one time.
Kind of like how its done below:

I also like how they separated different smileys into groups and named them at the top, could this be done on phpbb as well?
FYI: screenshot was of a forum powered by discuz!

Please help if you know how to achieve this!!
Thanks a bunch for reading this anyways!!
