How to disable "Post Approval"

Post by daybydaypoker.com »

Right now, when a registered user (and maybe mods - It's only me right now) tries to post, I have to approve it before it will show up...in my opinion that is really lame so how can I fix this? I would like to make the registered users be able to post without my approval. Thanks!

Under Misc. in ACP, Permissions, Forum Permissions, make sure, "Can Post without Approval" is set to "Yes"

ok ok, i have found it the option , but i have a problem with the permissions y iam almost more than furious, i seems to be that the acp dont do what i want to do.

For example for Registred Users the in Advanced Permissions-->Misc-->Can post without approval-->is set in Yes.

But reallity is difrent because when i try to post say that need to be approval that post why!!!???

And it happens the same with another values like, edit your own posts, or delete your own posts, they are active, but simply dont let to do it please help!!!

It is forum specific. You must set it for each forum.

Check the forum permission masks at the bottom of the permissions page menu.

You probably have a conflicting permission

I am also having this problem. I've been working on it for hours... I can't see the problem.
Does anyone else have any advice about where to look that has not already been discussed? Is there a general setting that would change permissions without showing up in the permissions...

Thanks!

This can also stem from
ACP -> General -> Post settings

Enable queued posts: No
Maximum post count for queued posts: 0

Set it as above..
I abandoned all of my mods.

I'm Using the PHPBB3 And this setting is already set to 'yes' here, and keeps asking for moderation. In PHPBB3 Doesn't hava a tab called "Misc".

Can anyone help me?

Yes it does.

Make sure you're looking at groups forum permissions
