How exactly did you do the upgrade?
One step has been skipped, updating the daabase schema.
upload the install foldr again, and browse to your_board_address/install/database_update.php
then delete the install folder again.

I upgraded thru Godaddy - basically I clicked a button and they upgraded it from their hosting site for me. When I did 3.02 to 3.03 like this - it was fine.
I'm not sure how to do what you suggested. I have the option of 'rolling' back to the previous version thru Godaddy. Will this fix this problem? If not, how would I manually upload the file you suggested?
Thanks for your time on this.

Step 1. Stop using any tools supplied by your web host, they nearly always skip steps.
We can't support boards which are not installed using files downloaded from here. They make changes to the files which we know nothing about.
That is why
rule4a says we don't support downloads from elsewhere.
Start reading from
docs/INSTALL.html#update_full for how to do a real update.
