I am having this problem but only with Firefox. It works fine with IE7 and Opera.
I go
to my site at
http://www.ozelloshrimper.com/board/
I click
Login
When the page comes up, I log in.
I am shown a page indicating that I successfully logged in. In the far right corner, next
to the word
login, my name appears indicating that it knows me. The meta-redirect kicks in and I am returned
to the board index but my
login credentials are erased. The link returns
to "
Login" only.
If I quickly click "Administrative Control Panel" before the meta-redirect, I am directed
to a page that says "Access
to the Administration Control Panel is not allowed as you do not have administrative permissions." My identity is erased again and I am faced with logging in again.
I am using my main administrator account.
phpbb3 RC7 - No modifications except a personal theme/style based on ProSilver.
Update: RC7 was a fresh install. I used an upgraded database from RC5 but that was all. The theme I am using was hand recreated using the ProSilver template that came WITH RC7. I did not upgrade from RC5 or 6 .
Update 2: Odd, I tried closing Firefox completely and coming back in from a fresh browser state. It let me get as far as re-authenticating myself
to access the Administrator Control Panel and then told me that I had successfully done so. When it was about
to take me
to the
ACP, it then told me that I didn't have permission again.
