That could be quite problematic as permissions would need to be granted on the intranet and the server setup for directory browsing (I think) Maybe it would just be easier to put the information you require in a custom page, Knowledge Base - Add a New Custom Page to phpBB?dethis wrote:Does anyone know a bbcode that allow to do a url path to a computer shared folder, since my forum runs on a local intranet only and i would like to point to some shares
Code: Select all
[bbcode={SIMPLETEXT}]{TEXT}[/bbcode]

something like this : \\computer\share
Code: Select all
file://computer/share
You need two BBCodes:snake1987 wrote:anyone knows how to create a custom bbcode with an optional parameter?
for examplei want the {SIMPLETEXT} tag be optional, but if the user write nothing it doesn't workCode: Select all
[bbcode={SIMPLETEXT}]{TEXT}[/bbcode]
Code: Select all
[bbcode={SIMPLETEXT}]{TEXT}[/bbcode]
Code: Select all
[bbcode]{TEXT}[/bbcode]
Code: Select all
[bbcode={SIMPLETEXT1},{SIMPLETEXT2}]{TEXT}[/bbcode]
Code: Select all
[bbcode={SIMPLETEXT}]{URL}[/bbcode]
Code: Select all
<SCRIPT language="javascript">
var stringvar = "{SIMPLETEXT}";
if (stringvar == ""){ //if empty
stringvar = "Image"; //fill it with default text
}
document.write('<img src="{URL}" alt="'+stringvar+'" />');
</SCRIPT>
Code: Select all
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{TEXT}&ap=%2526fmt%3D18"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/{TEXT}&ap=%2526fmt%3D18" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="605" height="364"></embed></object>
Thks work great for my casePony99CA wrote:The following works for me in Windows Explorer:dethis wrote:Does anyone know a bbcode that allow to do a url path to a computer shared folder, since my forum runs on a local intranet only and i would like to point to some shares.
something like this : \\computer\share
However, I can't get a BBCode to use it. (The computer part gets removed, possibly because my board is on a remote host and phpBB automatically strips remote servers from the file: protocol as a security measure.)Code: Select all
file://computer/share
Steve
Try doing exactly as he suggests.snake1987 wrote:thanks for the reply Steve

i.e. define TWO bbcodes, one with the first parameter, and one without.
As he mentioned, that is exactly how the URL bbcode makes the "=URL" inside the tag optional.
try to use {SIMPLETEXT} or {IDENTIFIER} tag instead of {TEXT}Staircase wrote:I searched but couldn't find anything on this. How can i disable autoplay on youtube embeds?
Some users are just adding &autoplay=1 at the end of the youtube url. I want it so they can't make the youtube video autostart. Is this possible?
My code right now is:Thanks guys.Code: Select all
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{TEXT}&ap=%2526fmt%3D18"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/{TEXT}&ap=%2526fmt%3D18" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="605" height="364"></embed></object>
