thts good mod...i have a question.. i don't want the user to cast vote but i want the user to read a particular topic before doing anything....i want to force the user only to read the topic i select but don't want to force to caste vote..can i explain how can i do this,.. just force to read a topic not force to caste vote..but i want both as i need force force and topic..but don't know how they work independently..

You can do this, just examine and install the mod. Do not add any topic as vote compulsory, but only add a topic ID forced to read.

Would be nice to be able to assign a compulsory vote or topic to particular user groups and/or ranks, instead of everyone.

There is a user permission to ignore compulsory polls. You don't have force everyone to vote.

this sounds great but I was wondering if you could add another feature of forcing people to reply before they vote?

I have a discussion forum and everytime I throw up a poll like 10% reply because I guess they are too lazy and just click the poll options. So could you add another feature for that?

This mod looks great even without the above requested feature but if it had it then I would deem it perfect.

Yes, their purposes are different. If you install both of these mods, you should not enable both of the mods in the same topic.
- Poll vote reminders - makes people vote compulsory
- Post first before voting - prevent people vote befor replying to topic

I see what you mean...since they do the exact opposite of each other it would be silly to have both working on the same topic. Got it.
