Help creating a new style class?

Hey guys! I have a menu bar with links that I would like to change the font color to white, but when I do that, it turns a whole bunch of other link items to white.... What I needed to do was figure out where the pertaining style was defined, and I found it, but the color #'s don't match with the colors I see, so it's like I've hit a brick wall. I tried creating a new style and switching the class tags to each menu item, but that didn't do anything. Here is the forum I'm working on:
