It takes the text between the bbcode and makes it so when you click on that it will search in Google for that text.

You can find a demo there.

Well.... it looks like nice MOD but I have trouble to imagine what would I use it for ? Can anybody give me an example what is it good for in real life ? I don't wanna sound offensive, it is just that I can't figure that out.

Considering the number of times I've had folks on my forum refer to a Google search for one thing or another, this could be very useful...

Neat idea, John. As I mentioned somewhere else in here, you're my phpBB hero. ;)

(possible new BB code item: [brownnoser]<text>[/brownnoser]) hehehe....

Actually no... When I read the mod information a bit closer, I see you're correct.

Okay, wGEric: Fine addition to the community you've made. Thank you! :)

JohnA: You and the phpBB Team okayed wGEric's efforts, so you're still my hero(s) for recognizing good work.

Does that cover the bases?? ;)

With phpBB 2.0.5, I try to install this mod. but, in the very first lines of the instruction I have a problem :(

#-----[ OPEN ]---------------------------------
posting.php

#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------
$EMBB_keys = array(''

(not found)

Is this mod is correct for 2.0.5 ?
