Works for phpBB2.0.6 and requires PHP Versions > 4.1.0

Requires a new database table, but an included script to create table is included within download file.

EasyMOD seems to handle it well, and without errors.

Yes, kind of. It doesn't just display the feed on your page, it enters the contents as topics in your forums.

I was just about to post a reply on the other threadand you locked it on me!

Anyway, I ran my first cron job successfully tonite! w00t!!! Your instructions in the other thread couldn't have been clearer.... One question tho, is it possible to input only some of the feeds each time, or does it do all of them by default no matter what?

You can add ?n=1,2,3,4 to the end of the insert url to only grab some of the feeds, where n relates to the id of the feed. So you could split it up into multiple gets if you're having problems with time outs or you could have different cron settings for different feeds.

yep, no ads, no spam. However, not much formating capabilities, and, as a publisher, no ads as well...
I am still looking for good resources on how much it may impact a server's load and bw. I guess i'll have tot ry it out .

You only need to do this if you want this thing to be automated. i.e. you do nothing and the news feeds get injected to your forums. If you want to control when they get injected, you only need to go to the Admin Panel and scroll down to FIND and then enter your feeds..... Oh, and you should do the automation part after you have tested the functionality of the mod.
