SO SO lost! Help

Postby ezekielbear » Fri Aug 06, 2004 6:36 am

Okay, my forum is up and running...the forum works great. I got all that.

However, I'm trying to install some updates and games, and when I'm following the instructions in NotePad, at SOME POINT during nearly every single notepad, I get to one step where a message comes up saying "there isn't enough memory, please close a program". Now, there is MORE then enough memory on my computer free...

When this message comes up, it wont allow you to type one more single letter in the notepad, copy, paste, anything. Everything works pretty much except for one single step in the process of installing these things.

I'm new to this, so I could be messing up some place, but I don't think so. I don't understand why the notepad is doing this.

The error message on my board in the games section is

Couldn't obtain main data

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1146 Table 'vidasworld_uk_db.iNA' doesn't exist

SELECT * FROM iNA

Line : 53
File : /data/members/free/tripod/uk/v/i/d/vidasworld/htdocs/phpBB2/admin/admin_activity.php

Now, I am missing at least one, maybe a few "install steps", seeing as I can't do anything else in that notepad as it wont let me type in it. Open another file tho via notepad...and you can type in that...so like I said, it's not my computer.

I'm totally lost. Can anybody PLEASE help me? I've got this for a "quick reply", for another game, and other updates. It's just that one notepad that's really killing me per "update". Help. Please

don't use notepad, it has a very limited amount of memory to open files in.

use wordpad, it is much better for this anyway.

If you have only been doing part of each install, then you will most llikely need to just start over and make sure you get everything done exactly right.
