Presenting phpBB's opt-in mailing list...

It has come to pass that phpBB is more popular than it's ever been and the mailing list regarding new releases, hosted at SourceForge has been outgrown as on occassion a significant amount of lag was apparent before users got their notifications, assuming they were even aware of the list's existance.

So without further ado, the self hosted phpBB mailing list is now live: http://www.phpbb.com/support/

Subscribe and keep yourself up to date with the latest phpBB released news regarding security/maintainance releases of the current 2.0.x line and also the next generation 2.2.x line as and when the time comes!

... please remember to confirm your subscriptions!. We're getting a lot of users joining the list but a significant number are not confirming their subscriptions. Remember, you must provide a valid reachable email address. Don't use one you rarely read, don't use one which is spam filtered (unless you've specifically set it up to expect emails from phpbb.com), etc.

We will not pass any email addresses to third parties, we will not use this list for anything but release announcements ... so traffic will be extremely light.
