This MOD has only been tested by the phpBB MOD Team with the phpBB version in the topic title. It may not work in any other versions of phpBB.

I'm looking to expand this mod to strip out the BBCode entered by the spammers.

If this feature is required then please let me know here.

All this mod does currently is stop guests from having HTML BBCode and smilies passed in the message they post.

I started this as guests (robots) keep posting to my open forum (I always use one for people to post 'hey I can login' messages) and use the post to link to porn etc sites.

If there is enough interest then i'll strip out all BBCode and HTML from the message...!
