Multi Colour text

Postby Glorious Goat » Sat Aug 05, 2006 10:38 am

I think this might be the wrong part of the forum, but does anyone know anything about this.

We use phpbb for our forum and someone writes everything and it comes in a rainbow text, i know he doesnt spend ages going through every colour changing it, does anyone know what programm he is using?

Thanks people! :)

IS there a bb code installed on your forum to allow this - I have seen them about. Clicking 'Edit' on one of there posts might let you see how they are achieving this. Or you could just ask them...

Got a link to the site?

EDIT: Just been searching and they could have the rainbow MOD installed. Try posting like this:

Code: Select all

JUst doing that shows a long string of colour codes - it's doubtful he types [color=xxxx] before each and every character...

if he used the [rainbow][/rainbow] tags and you quote the multicoloured post, then the [rainbow][/rainbow] tags should be visible in the quote.
