How do I go about troubleshooting the fact that the weekly digests are being sent 3 times to my members (exact copies)? I cant see anything obvious in any logs.

I assume you are using version 2.2.16. The easiest way to make the problem go away is to upgrade to 2.2.17, but you can find a bug fix for this particular problem here:

We're running 2.2.18 and people are receiving 2 or 3 copies.

Most of the time, all three copies are sent at the same time (whatever time they chose for the digest to be sent).

Sometimes, the additional copies are sent 20 or 30 minutes apart.

It will happen for a few days and then stop.

I assume in the administrator logs that there is evidence of multiple digests going out for the same user. If logging is not enabled for digests, please turn it on and document that this is being done by the digest software. You are the first user to mention this problem with version 2.2.18.

Here are the logs for 3:00pm (PDT). Two copies to 4 people. I haven't confirmed w/any of them that they received 2 copies, but here are the admin logs:

ETA: I have heard from one of the 4 and she did, in fact, receive 2 identical digests.

A digest going out at 41 minutes after the hour is suspicious. Please verify that there are not two cron jobs running mail_digests.php. If something else is calling it, consider using a key parameter and tailoring the cron job to use the key parameter. Instructions are in the readme.html file in the archive. You can set the key parameter in the Digest ACP interface.
