Hi Mark,

Thanks a lot for considering my request to include digest mode selection in new user registration form in new release! Will try out this weekend and integrate into our main site.

We have one observation though. Currently we are running 2.2.16 and we found that Monthly digests were not sent to the users who have optioned to receive monthly digests. Daily and weekly digests are working fine though. I myself have tested it by setting the option to monthly in July 3rd week. Till now I did't get even a single mail with monthly topics.

Can you please look into this issue also.

Monthly digests are sent out on the 1st of the month, specifically the 1st of the month in GMT. So if a user's timezone is -4GMT and they ask for a monthly digest sent to them at 2100 hours in their time zone, they will receive their September monthly digest at 2100 hours on September 30, incorporating all relevant posts from 1 September 2011 through 30 September 2011 based on the post time in GMT.

If you enabled logging you can see precisely which digests went out when in the Administrator Log. Can you verify from the log and from the edit subscribers tool that these digests did not go out on a different day?

Thanks for the prompt response.

You are absolutely correct. My time zone is GMT +05:30 and I've received the digest 3hrs back.
Monthly digests are working fine.
