Hi Mark,

Thanks a lot for your wonderful mod and and regular support for the same. This mod has turned out to be a superstar feature for our forum!

I've received a suggestion from couple of my forum members. They say the option to enable or disable email digests should also be given in the registration form too. Once the user registers successfully, they can go to UCP and change the settings and board admin could enable daily digests by default.

Is there any way to achieve this using Custom Profile fields or do we need to write a module or hack the code?

No, this would not work with a custom profile field, at least as I understand it. It will take some investigation but I'll see about adding this as a feature to version 2.2.18.
