if you don't know how to install a mod, morpheus2matrix wrote a guide.

you might want to check the knowledge base for it too

If you want this to apply to PMs as well, then make the same changes to privmsg.php.

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ OPEN ]------------------------------------------
#
privmsg.php

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
//
// Flood control
//

#
#-----[ AFTER, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#

    // No Flood Limit For Administrators & Moderators MOD
    if($userdata['user_level'] != ADMIN && $userdata['user_level'] != MOD)
    {

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#

message_die(GENERAL_MESSAGE, $lang['Flood_Error']);
			}
		}

#
#-----[ AFTER, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#

} // noflood mod
Kinda funny that there seem to be two mods that do the same thing in slightly different ways, eh?

NICE. Theres only one way to rate this script. Excellent. It's a hastle for admins to try and help members when they have a flood limit themselves.
