This by far as to be the best mod for PHPBB. It is very feature rich and has to be one of the largest mods written as far as lines of code.

Are you using the db-based template.php (cache) file ?
Maybe this is the problem, because only the file-based one is supported. or you have really something edited wrongly, re-check your files with the pre-edited ones.

How can I check which one I use? I use FA Mod Version 2.3.5

Here's an example of the results: www.3dvalley.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=49#49

I noticed by now it does this not in preview but is does in posted posts... also when the image is smaller then the thumbnail threshold...

I went through all the obvious files alreasy and did not find anything, will go thru 'm all this evening, since I just have to fix this... I also want to install the mod at my other board at TechExams.net to show network diagrams etc... although it doesn't work quite yet for me, I still think it is the best mod ever!

sorry, i dunno, i have no idea what's wrong.

Because you do not know about the db-based template.php file i do not think you are using it.

Have you read the install.txt, there are pre-edited files replacing the step of modifying phpbb2 files.

Ok, here is what I do not understand from the "user guide", nor can I figure out how to do it, via screwing around with it....

I want to be able to post 'wallpapers'.... typically 1024x768 in size.... but I want to have it show a smaller size (thumbnail) of the image, which is linked to the full-size image.

I do have ImageMagic, so I know I can do it..... problem is, I can't figure out how to actually configure it to do this :(

Can someone walk me through this, please.

Thanks

You only need to assign the special category images to to your Extension Group where you defined all your allowed image extensions.

Then go to the Special Categories screen, search for imagemagick, the path box should be filled. ;)
Now set the Display Images inlined and create thumbnails to yes, press submit. Now press the test settings button to be really sure thumbnails are working (theoretically).
If it gives no error, your board should create thumbnails now. ;)
