Please try:
ACP > General > Search Settings > (all the way down) Common word threshold:
and set it to 100%

//possible invalid and support request?

Changed ticket severity from "Uncategorised/normal" to "Possibly invalid"

it seems like changing the value has no effect, at least it doesn't for me,
I even set it to 0 to disable it, still blocking common words,

EDIT: FWIW, viewtopic.php?f=46&t=1331555#p7915225

that seems to explain it a bit more

Have you tried rebuilding the index after changing the setting?

Posted by T50 on Dec 2nd 2008, 03:39

@ iWisdom, I have tried changing the value and then recreated the index, and it works.
I edited before i tested the solution on the link i put on.

I should've edited my post stating Chris's suggestion works

This is getting too much like a support topic :) Please leave the trouble shooting to the support topic, the bug tracker is not intended for support. If the conclusion of the support topic is that there really is a bug and it is not due to configuration or whatever, a more concise bug report can be submitted so the problem can be addressed more effectively. Thanks.

Abab67,
it is NOT a bug, I have tested it and it works, you HAVE to pick your settings for the %, then DELETE and rebuild your index, if you have alot of posts then it might take a while.

but it works fine, you probably aren't reindexing it after changing it.
