please open ftp interface for attachment in ACP

Because PHPBB has been implented the FTP function,i hope open ftp interface for attachment in ACP.

not sure what that means. most hosts don't have a separate ftp server any more.

all of the files including the attachments are in the same place. you access them using ftp for uploading downloading etc. etc.
but they are all in the same place regardless of how they get uploaded.

phpbb3 has been implented the FTP function，but it don’t open for attachment uploading or downloading . Now，it can only upload every attachmentto to the Web server， but the Web Server space is limited.
So I want to configure the FTP server that is not in the WEB server，the whole web attachment uploads the FTP Server and downloads from the FTP Server
So，i hope i can set the information related to the FTP server in ACP in order to upload every attachmentto to the specified FTP server and download every attachment from the specified FTP server。

do you have a separate ftp server?

most people with hosting accounts do NOT.

you may think it is a separate server/machine but it is probably not.

even if it is, then the disk space for your account will most likely include both servers.
so, if you are uploading files to either one, they will count for your total web space.

I still don't know what that means. If you are referring to the way the auto update works with ftp, that is not how it works.

if you use that function you have to give it the url of the ftp account and the username password for the ftp account.

that ftp account is usually just part of the normal web space for your hosting account.

Yes, something for this will be implemented in 3.3, you will be able to upload attachments, backups and avatars to an external server (Google drive, aws s3, ftp server, azure, local, etc)

Here you have it working with attachments being uploaded to dropbox https://rubencm.net/phpbb/index.php
