Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2.7 Release

Updated from 3.2.5 using this method as usual: https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3.2/kb/article/updating-32x/ - update went without issue. Same here. Finally a flawless update. I always tried Automatic method with major errors every time (stores folder migrations etc.). Using the Full Install m...

Re: 3.2.3 to 3.2.5 update snafu

Empty the /cache but for .htaccess and index.html From /store, delete io_lock.lock, install_config.php and any files that look like migrationsxxx. Then browse to /install/app.php and you should be able to restart the update and select database update only. Thank you! It worked like a charm. I hate ...

Re: 3.2.3 to 3.2.5 update snafu

I did the full install, but it updated the files and not the database. Tried to go back to that section of the updater page, but it skips over that part where you choose to just update the database. Board is working, but it says files updated to 3.2.5 but database is still 3.2.3

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2.5 Release

Why should we not use the auto update package? I have the same prob as the previous poster. Mine times out, but does not allow me to change from FTP. I've used auto before and it went smooth. I changed the time out before I started to 30 seconds, but it gives time out error instantly. My site now wo...

Just go to /install and NOT /install.php

I made the same mistake.

Awesome! Thank you, that worked perfectly. I still have no idea what happened, but maybe I missed uploading a file the first time. Anyways, much appreciated. :mrgreen:

Re: My 3.1.6 upgrade went smooth until this...

I didn't edit anything in Dreamweaver. I use that to FTP the board to the server. When I noticed the problem (see pic) I opened that file in Dreamweaver to see if I could find a prob. It gave an error for line 16 which is referenced above. I don't know if the| syntax is correct in that line. Just ho...

Re: My 3.1.6 upgrade went smooth until this...

I found this error as identified with my Dreamweaver. It's the var_base line 16 on the adm/overall_header file.. Anyone see the error on there?

var jump_page = '{LA_JUMP_PAGE}{L_COLON}';
var on_page = '{CURRENT_PAGE}';
var per_page = '{PER_PAGE}';
var base_url = '{BASE_URL|e('js')}';
