Black holes are too far away for that, even mars is 9 months away from manned travel. Black holes are light years away. Anything beyond a light year is imposible for humans to reach yet alone send information back and fourth through unmanned bots. Forget anything beyond a light year - we already ha...

Well, lots of people are disussing what Sony did and it looks like there are some people taking advantage of Sony's software to hide tools / cheat programs / other stuff - looks like Sony did create something that people can use to spread / run malware / other undesirable programs.

I will either be at a party in some club or staying home and doing nothing much.

We don't really celebrate it here. Although I do have a friend who's birthday falls on Halloween itself ...... good chance to tease her, lol.

I used to use ICQ when it first started (5 digit UIN), and after it got bloated up, I stopped using any IMs at all. I have noticed that MSN can take about 50 mb of ram and is a huge resource hog (similar with the other IM softwares out there). I have started using Google Talk and although it seems s...

For me, I migrated from a free site (which lasted about a year), to paid shared hosting (which lasted about another year) and than to a shared server (just me and a friend using it for our sites), to currently having my own dedicated server. I hardly use much bandwidth / CPU cycles, so am using it f...

Depends what I'm downloading. If it's a Linux distro, I tend to use Bittorrent as it's generally quicker, but I can't be bothered finding a torrent for a ~4mb freeware program Agreed, unless the 4 mb small file is hosted in a server which is already swamped (slashdot effect or similar) - in that ca...

Re: Anyone Ever Play A Text Based RPG?

Agreed. Good translation, hehehe I used to run a more referee controlled rpg in irc a few years ago. (mIRC + custom script set) That and nethack for a brief period of time. I know there is at least one channel in DALnet which has a rpg bot with tonnes of people playing there. Am there daily - maybe...
