Creating a 'clean' structure database from a hacked one?

Basically I have inherited a forum which I am now having to clean up, update etc... The previous owner hasn't documented anything that he has done mod wise so I want to start again from scratch so I know what's-what. I don't want to loose the users/posts/pm's etc. Basically I want a fresh database s...

You'll just have to edit your /templates/xxxxx/profile_view_body.tpl file Look for the bit of code like <td valign="top"><b><span class="gen">{POSTS}</span></b><br /><span class="genmed">[{POST_PERCENT_STATS} / {POST_DAY_STATS} ... Then add <a href="{U_SEARCH_USER}" class="genmed">{L_SEARCH_USER_POS...

If you have images on another server you can use the [img] tags, however if you want your users to be able to attatch files to their posts you will have to install the attatchment mod -- see the mods forum for that mod.

The forum is trying to send email using the php mail function. Depending on your host this maybe disabled.

The other option is to use a SMTP account for all mail to be passed through - your host may offer this anyway. Smile

Hrmm, but I never installed a custom title mod, came with the phpbb... Hrm... I'm confused, I think I'm going to go find the mod and reinstall it. The custom title mod isn't part of phpBB it is a mod that must be installed. The only way that you could have it without installing it yourself is if yo...
