Re: Restore from Backup Error

Steve , I really appreciate the help you and Bob have provided. I took a quick census of the members and they were all happy to start afresh and take the opportunity to restyle the site into a leaner animal as it had become a bit clunky. So we'll be implementing auto prune and resisting the temptati...

Re: Restore from Backup Error

I've been exchanging emails and have just finished speaking to them on the phone and they won't budge on it at all. I even threatened to move 35 domains elsewhere and they won't do it. The only thing they would say is that I'll have to re-write the script. They wouldn't restore the database either. ...

Re: Restore from Backup Error

I was trying out a mod and it didn't work, so I tried to restore from the back up I had made that morning before I started and it ran for the 30 seconds and partially populated the forum. Everything from Oct 2009 has loaded but any amendments after that aren't showing.

Form completed

Re: Restore from Backup Error

The back up was done from within ACP and you're right bigdump doesn't work. I get this error FastCGI Error The FastCGI Handler was unable to process the request. Re: Restore from Backup Error

I appreciate the link , but it looks a bit above me. I don't suppose you know if there is an easier way as I now have a dead forum. Or if you fancy having a go for me I could supply the admin password.

Thanks Neil

Restore from Backup Error

Apologies if this is an old chestnut , but can't find it on the search facility , so here goes. Re: Posting template

We love this template on our forum but are concerned about losing it if we upgrade from 3.0.5 to 3.0.6.

Can anybody tell me if it still works under 3.0.6 and if so does it need reloading if it does work.

Cheers, Neil

Upgrade and Templates

I'm just contemplating upgrading to 3.0.6 and have the usual jitters around losing my mods. I have used the template mod and am just wondering if I am likely to lose this after the upgrade and will I have to reinstall it ? Any ideas would be appreciated !
