I've done that, and I get that error message when I go to /status_install.php. My question is do I have to create a db?

Having some trouble. Does this create a database or do I have to go in and do that? Hi Lefty, Great job with this, it will come in handy. If I can get my announcement to show up! I have installed it and it shows up on ACP.
