Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.1 discontinues support for PHP < 5.2

For this new phpbb, will it also be required to have a certain MySql version? I'm running a bit of an old one and recently, Wordpress requires a new version to run it.

Re: Clicking on smilies does not work [SOLVED --- thanks!]

How do you 'clear the cache'? Cause I have a similar problem. Editor.js is fixed but the problem is still there.

Re: Can't click smilies, BBC, etc...

I'm the owner of that forum and I made those changes, still the problem did not go away. Can anything else cause this?
EDIT: I checked the Error Console and still it says it's a : instead of a ; But I really did change it. :?

Refreshing styles

Is refreshing styles always needed (as explained here: http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article/cant-see-changes-editing-styles-changes-have-disappeared/ ) or only if you edit them yourself? I updated my forum to 3.0.8 and I saw my default style (Etech green) had an update. So can I just upload the whole sty...

store and currency.php

I was backing up my forumdata and when I downloaded the Store folder, my Norton gave a virus warning on currency.php.
Is this a hack or is Norton just confused?

Re: Time not correct after 3.0.5 conversion

Thanks, yes I contacted my host. I looked around a bit and saw that servertime is gmt timezone while the forum uses umt timezone.
In case my host can't or don't want to update servertime to umt, is there a way to change to gmt by changing some things in the files?

Re: Style changes from 3.0.0-RC5 up to 3.0.3

I updated the forum to 3.0.5 and need to update the styles based on Subsilver. I downloaded the Changed Files and it seems that there are 14 changed files. Can I just replace the old files with these newer ones, or do I need to check line for line what the changes are? Is there a topic for this alre...

Re: 2.0 forum gone after converting to 3.0

Thank you for the reply! Yes the database for 2.0 is still unchanged. The only thing I did to the 2.0 forum was disable it during the conversion (the instructions said to do that). After the conversion, I enabled the old forum again (clicked the button) and then right after, it got the error message...

2.0 forum gone after converting to 3.0

I converted my 2.0 forum to 3.0 and now, my 2.0 forum can't be found. "can't connect to database" or something. It's not that big of a deal since I was planning to delete it anyway, but I wondered why that happend. Also, the conversion went great, but I noticed all the avatars and smilies from the o...

Re: Remove moderator group

Thanks, but I only want the group Moderators removed from the list and not all of them.

And also that moderator can then still moderate ALL forums. Not good.
