@Swerve1000:
You're welcome! I installed the custom title mod on by board with easymod. everything went fine with no errors. (as said, don't forget your db-update. easymod still hasn't this feature). Good Luck, anyway :)

I'm now offline for at least one week. Holidays i'm comming :D

@Swerve1000: You probably forgot to update your db. Easymod doesn't do this for you! Upload the included titel_install.php to the same place where your phpBB's viewtopic.php is. @DaveSmooth: When you click on their profile from the front page, the custom title is there, but defintely appears bold that's right. As discussed on this page and some pages before, the bold titel is the default. You can edit profile_view_body.tpl and viewtopic_body.tpl so it looks like you want it...

@Philipos: As i thought, the problem was in the following edit (or perhaps your file was damaged from some actions before: # #-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------ # $sql = "UPDATE " . USERS_TABLE SET # #-----[ IN-LINE FIND ]------------------------------------------ # user_interes...

@Philipos: As far as i can see, the problem is here: $sql = "UPDATE " . USERS_TABLE . " SET " . $username_sql . $passwd_sql . "user_email = '" . str_replace("\'", "''", $email) ."', user_icq = '" . str_replace("\'", "''", $icq) . "', user_website = '" . str_replace("\'", "''", $website) . "', user_o...

the problem i ment was not the word itself. but after the closing-apostrophe there are two commas. i think that's the problem. can you please show us you usercp_register.php around the changes i wrote above. by the way: if you use easymod, there is a bug in the new version so in-line changes aren't ...

@Philipos: I think the problem is here: 'user_custom_title = 'Trying!' ,, user_sig = '[img:785c681 There are two commas after the custom_titel field. Check your edits in usercp_register.php! I think your error was on this edits: # #-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------ # $sql = "UP...

@GrooveCollection: you can change the profile_view_body.tpl and viewtopic_body.tpl complying with your desire. by default the mod says: <strong>{CUSTOM_TITLE}</strong> resp. <strong>{postrow.CUSTOM_TITLE}</strong> As you can see a strong is already added so it's written in bold. you can add anything...

@Gast1989: As already said above, go to configuration in the adminCP and on "Days of registration required" and "Posts required" type 0. So there are no limitations for users to enter their custom titel. The option in the user-configuration through the ACP is only if you have restrictions and want t...

No, this change has nothing to do with security issue. It has to do with the background color of the box where you type your username and your password. If you change the color (from white to something else) from your .css file for the class post, the background on the login will remain white (whic...
