Re: Discuss: Introducing JIRA – the new bug tracker

Appears to be a failing in the interaction between AJAX and Linux. In FF on Windows, it works as expected.

Any chance of getting a start=50 version encoded?

Re: Discuss: Introducing JIRA – the new bug tracker

So, about that vaunted JIRA usability... Any idea why clicking on "Page 2" of a saved search would bring up a brand new Issue Navigator? I didn't write the query, so I'd have to a) write down the details given, then b) figure out how to encode that in the dropdowns for the tracker, but change...

Re: Deactivated after email address change

We ended up customizing the board ourselves, since phpBB.com isn't going to help defeat their "security feature".

Re: Deactivated after email address change

I wonder how hard this would be just to make a quick modification to the php code. All that is really needed is just a tag in the activation email saying this is an email change... and perhaps the new email address of the user. Any thoughts? -Mike This would be a step, but really, it's ludicrous to...

Re: Profile details changed????

Count me in for STILL finding this annoying, two years later. Especially on an admin-activation board, it ought to be possible to set this to a less-strict setting than initial activation, or disable it entirely.

overall_footer not used in delete action of posting.php?

We've made some modifications to overall_footer.html, replacing useful links from the top of the page, but on short interstitial pages (like the "You have posted" page) it's ugly to have so many replicated links on one screen. So we stripped <!-- INCLUDE overall_footer.html -->   from message_body.h...

Can someone explain HOW these numbers are being generated, rather than just spitting out random values? Teach a man to fish, etc...

Re: Custom BBCodes

Which CSS file should bbcode-specific stuff go into - content? common? if it's simple CSS, just include it in a STYLE attribute. Ideally, BBCodes should not require file edits (those are MODs, then). It's a spoiler tag. We have several different styles, and setting the font and background color alw...

Re: Custom BBCodes

That's all fine and good but here is the reality. First let me explain that we no longer allow any cut & pasting of articles from other sites. The reason is that there are companies working with lawyers who use Google to identify copyright vilolaters. They sue you for $150,000 per incident -- and t...

Re: Subforum as link gives 404 error when clicked from index

One of our coders found a possible solution: Original issue: http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=15012 I looked into this a bit. Our problem is in includes/functions.php . There is a function named redirect in there that decides what to do based on the URL that gets passed in.        ...

Re: Subforum as link gives 404 error when clicked from index

Please fill out the Support Request Template Generator and post it back here to enable us to assist you better. Isn't that what I did in the first post? I don't see where linked forums are defined in the code - but this is a definite difference in behavior between the 'subforum' link on index and t...
