Re: [Request] Cascade deletions to quotes

Given that the quote tag now supports a post_id attribute, it would be possible to delete all quotes of that post that use that post_id attribute, but it wouldn't catch cases where the post contents were quoted but not marked with that post_id (and I think trying to do so using a find/replace could ...

Re: Push notification

I'm sure you already came to this conclusion, since the last commit was nearly two years ago, but you should consider https://github.com/imkingdavid/push abandoned. I made some good progress on it initially but the main issue I ran into was that you have to authenticate separately with the forum and...

Re: [BETA][3.1] [pre]fixed - Topic Prefixes extension

Yes, I was able to install it on 3.2 and it seems functional. Of course, it's still BETA so it isn't recommended to be used in a live environment but let me know if you run into any bugs.

More or less, yes. I haven't had a lot of time to devote to it lately, but I do plan to continue working on it.

Re: Where Phpbb screwed up when they came out with the extension vesion

phpBB provides the base software, including 2 styles, and a small number of official extensions. Aside from that, any and all other MODs, extensions, styles, etc. are made by unaffiliated, 3rd parties. That code does not belong to the phpBB team, nor is it their responsibility to keep track of and m...

Re: [BETA][3.1] [pre]fixed - Topic Prefixes extension

Any prosilver-based style should work, as long as that style includes the necessary template events. Can you make sure the style you are using is up to date? I believe the necessary template event was added as recently as 3.1.10, so if you are on a previous version you would either need to update yo...

Re: [BETA][3.1] [pre]fixed - Topic Prefixes extension

@imkingdavid, thx. Maybe it will be possible to do two other issues: In some forums I would like to do "obligatory Prefix" for each new topic. Every new topic must have Prefix. Not possible to create a new topic if you do not chose any Prefix. Unfortunately in Android or Tapatalk Prefix is not work...

Re: phpBB mobile app

There is this from 2015: http://www.theverge.com/2015/4/20/8454613/push-notifications-android-chrome-42-mobile-web Not sure how easy it would be to incorporate into phpBB, and it only works (afaik) for desktop and android Chrome (not on iOS according to that link, unless things have changed since th...

@Lech-u

I just pushed a change to move that string into the language file under language/en/prefixed.php so you can put it in a language file for your language.

Re: [BETA][3.1] [pre]fixed - Topic Prefixes extension

Prefixes are fully BBCode-enabled, so it should work to use an [img] BBCode in a prefix. You should be able to put the prefix behind the topic title by changing the filenames of the template events in the extension files from: viewtopic_topic_title_prepend.html -> viewtopic_topic_title_append.html t...

Re: [BETA][3.1] [pre]fixed - Topic Prefixes extension

Oh, my mistake. For this code: $event['page_title'] = '[' . $this->load_prefixes_topic($event, 'topic_data') . ']' . $event['page_title']; You should change it to this: $topic_prefixes = $this->load_prefixes_topic($event, 'topic_data'); if (!empty($topic_prefixes)) { $event['page_title'] = '[' . $to...

Re: [BETA][3.1] [pre]fixed - Topic Prefixes extension

@SalazarAG - It's because of this line: https://github.com/imkingdavid/prefixed/blob/develop/core/manager.php#L255 You may be able to fix it by changing the code block from 246-256 in that file to this: $prefixes_array = array(); foreach ($topic_prefixes as $instance) { $vars = []; // A URL to a vie...

SalazarAG, Yes, if you change the line to look like this it should work: $event['page_title'] = '[' . $this->load_prefixes_topic($event, 'topic_data') . ']' . $event['page_title']; I have tried installing on test forum For a beginner impossible understand little of the explanation I download program...

Re: [BETA][3.1] [pre]fixed - Topic Prefixes extension

I just wanted to double check, you mean that you're unable to achieve the red background in your screenshot using my extension? Note that prefixes are fully bbcode-enabled, so you should be able to use a BBCode to apply a background color and rounded corners to your prefix. Example: http://imgur.co...
