Attached images aren't displayed in quotes

Hello,

I'm running phpBB 3.2.1. Recently I noticed that attached images don't show up when users quote somebody's post. Is this typical? Is there a way to get the attached photos to show up when someone quotes a post?

Re: Unable to attach photos

Problem has been solved. Posting the solution here for the benefit of others who may encounter a similar issue. After checking my attachment settings and directory permissions (which were all correct) I contacted my webhost and explained the issue. They reported back that they simply had to restart ...

Re: Unable to attach photos

I changed the "Check Attachment Files" setting as suggested but the problem persists.

Here are the image file types that are currently listed under ACP > Posting > Attachments > Manage attachment extensions

Unable to attach photos

About two months ago my site was hacked and I had to work with my webhost to do a restoration of my site. The forum seems to be working fine except that neither I, nor my users, are able to attach any files to their posts. When a user attempts to upload a file the upload fails and the error message ...

Re: Images Hijacked by Photobucket?

Hi Mike, I'm hoping you can help me out. Previously I had this extension working perfectly on my board. Everything was fine until I migrated my board to a new web host and upgraded to phpBB 3.2.1. After the migration the image redirect wasn't working quite right. I thought perhaps the database table...

Re: User password and registration errors after udpate to 3.2.1

Here's a brief update - unfortunately I'm still struggling with this. I'm still having trouble with members not being able to log into my forum (www.forum.corvette-restoration.com). I have reports from 3 or 4 regular users who all say they can't log on. One can log in with Firefox but everyone else ...

Re: User password and registration errors after udpate to 3.2.1

The problem is persisting. Now I can't log in either. After trying to log in it I'm redirected to the forum home page but I'm not logged in. No error message is given. I'm assuming I'll have to run the cookie.php file again suffice i can't get to the ACP. Is the issue because the cookie is setting t...

Re: User password and registration errors after udpate to 3.2.1

Well, it looks like we've stumped my web hosts technical support team. Here's there latest response? If you could elaborate a bit? Thanks and sorry this is turning into a pain! I reviewed the phpBB support team answer but I am afraid I can't quite understand how exactly cookies would be related to t...

Re: User password and registration errors after udpate to 3.2.1

Thank you. I contacted my web host and they didn't see anything wrong with my account. On a hunch the adjusted a server security issue but they're not sure if it's going to work. I've contacted a few of the four members were having issues to find out if it fix the problem. I'll post an update when I...

Re: User password and registration errors after udpate to 3.2.1

Several members are still reporting they can log in with one browser (explorer) but not the other (chrome). I've had them completely clear their caches/browsing history but it hasn't helped. I'm at a loss as to how to resolve this. I did switch web hosts so I'm not sure if that might have anything t...
