Well, actually are there MODs doing it?
I'm pretty sure the "Shop Mod" by Adrian did that but in the middle of milion of other string and files.

Is there a way to allow only certain user group to edit their title (like "Registered User")?

Sorry, but i thought:
When you use the search.php functions and you search topic of a certain user in a certain forum isnt that the same? Anyway i dont know anything, i can just try to help you helping me.
