Ok if found .htpass or w/e and .htaccess is saying it needs to use .htpass to enter but how can u remove that? just remove the file?

EDIT: I removed both and now i can get into the ACP i'm just hoping that isn't gonna cause any security issues

Yea i've used a password for acp with the last server but I removed it. how is that causing an issue?

It can add anything you add in the ACP, so for instance you want a blue [RC1], just go to ACP and add it ;)
