What do you mean a "shell connection"? Also I have several mods that edited the db, would those cause any errors?

Switching domain-keeping forums

I am looking into switching domain names, but I really want to keep everything I've done. I asked my host and they said I would need to edit a few config files but that is it. Has anyone ever done this before?

[A] Images in sigs?

I am using 2.08 and I was wondering why images won't show up in signatures? It looks like this is a 2.0.8 thing, can I change it?

I am getting more parse errors. I have gotten them several times before. I am on 2.06. I noticed the problem occurs whenever a file is uploaded. How are these stopped?

i have also been having a parse error but one in my index.php file. Which is really annoying cause I can't access my forums at all! Sadly this is my 3rd. The others I have fixed by replacing the file with a new copy of it. Is this a bug that will be fixed in 2.2?

Is it possible that this is a bug in dreamweaver? My host said that this could be a problem deep in the coding. But they're not exactly willing to help. So wtf should I do? My forums have been down for more than 2 weeks now and I am starting to get pissed. So can someone please try to help?

I have been getting many parse errors. Is this a common bug that will be fixed in 2.2? Or is it something that I can fix easily just someone needs to tell me how?
