Do you have any mods installed on your forum? If so, patch is a better idea, if you know how to use it. Otherwise, changed files is a better idea.

Actually the administrative Email in the ACP > General > Configuration is the "from" address. I want to change the address to which registrations are sent. it is also the address that any emails sent to the administrator go to. if i understand you correctly, you want to change the adminis...

there is only one moderator on the site right now, and he's in a different area of the site right now.

take a look at your database...all your information is stored there, as you'll see with a quick glance.

yes, all your settings and posts will be there. they are stored in the database, rather than in the phpbb files themselves.

is there a way to get this to work for macintosh? specifically, for the safari browser? it works great for my other browsers, but in safari, i'm not able to select colors...i can see the bar, but i can't choose colors.

LVZ: i reccomend you upgrade to 2.0.11 - there's more security fixes since 2.0.8. as for where, i'd assume in the /contrib directory

Nope, Not a CMS.

But more a phpbb Portal, which is different from a CMS.


phpBB portal is on hold for an indefinite period of time...so, no, they aren't currently working on a portal system, either
