Re: mass email problem-to many users

Perhaps you could separate your 10,000 users into 5 different groups - and mail one group each day? I only have 1,000 users so I have not had this problem. My hosting provider offers e-mail service at Jumpline.com - but I have never looked into their limits - and my previous attempts to create a cus...

Upgrading to phpbb 3.0.6 Check files / update files problem

The following files are modified and do not represent the original files from the old version. The updated file will be a merge between your modifications and the new file. I have done this before successfully - then I had my entire site restored to a few days prior and I was re-applying the update....

Re: Field 'user_arcade_permissions' error

I was mistaken- this mod was not the German one -- (i'm thinking of the Download mod i'm having trouble with) The solution for this problem is pretty simple: Edit this: includes/functions_users.php file. Find: $additional_vars = array( 'user_permissions' => '', and Add this on the next line: 'user_a...

Re: Is / Will there be an official PORTAL for phpBB?

Thank you for your clarification. I have been using a custom made front page for the past two years and it stinks. I have SO MANY different modules / things running that all pull info from different places and it is a pain to manage... After seeing the amazing ease of use with one of the portals - h...

Re: Contact Board Admin

I have read all those online instructions you linked ( a few times)- thank you for linking them; but they do not help. I also read and installed the two fixes that were listed on your file (which I opened with my browser) That 'aceboard' reference was a reply someone had made as a 'fix' suggestion; ...
