Thank you for the link.

I have decided to use the Advanced Forum module. It is not as good as phpBB, but it is easier to integrate with the site functionality and appearance.

Installation is one thing, but keeping it up to date is something else. My main concern would be any problems when updating Drupal or phpBB. Lets say I install phpBB 3.0.5 with Drupal 6.14 and everything is working fine. What is the process of updating one or both when an update is released? The php...

Hi Eelke,

Is the solution you are working on for Drupal 6 or 5? I would love to help out, unfortunately I do not have the PHP skills required.

Have you considered working with other Drupal / phpBB developers on this? You may find additional brainpower at the phpBB group.

I am very much in the same situation as you and I have decided to go with Drupal.

Drupal and phpBB

I decided to go with Drupal as I am convinced Drupal is the most flexible CMS framework. I have used PHPBB for a long time and consider it the best bulletin board system available.
