Form Template via BBCode

Hi, at the moment, I am trying to create a BBcode for a formular. The user should select this code and insert some information, e.g. two words. In the end, it should look like this: Predefined-Text text Predefined-Text text2 text3 My first try failed. Can someone help? I think, it is just a little p...

Re: Using English Themes on a Norwegian phpBB forum

You can not say this in general.
Some webhoster have different chmod-Settings for a file to be readable.
In my case, chmod 710 is enough for folders.

Re: Internal Server Error

Yes, the default is 30 seconds. 10 seconds are not enough for many scripts, especially then when you want to upload a file via http. The most hoster I know have set the limit higher and not lower. The Internal Server Error is often an indicator for a misconfigured .htaccess. Do you use one and are a...

Re: Google search problem!

You will have to wait until the Googlebot visits your forum the next time and update their statistics about it.

Re: Images are not displayed correctly

But some other users have the same problem, too. I recently registered a new user and as you already said, there was "Display Images within Posts." set to "Yes". Scary. But I will do it another way. I am going to create a new thread in my own forum and ask the users to verify their options. Thank yo...

Re: Images are not displayed correctly

Thank you. It works. :)
But am I able to set this Option to "Yes" for all existing users and as standard for new users?

I could not find any option for that in the UCP.

Images are not displayed correctly

Hi,
I have a problem with phpBB again:
If someone tries to insert an image via bbcode, only a URL is being created so that the user can klick on.
Does anyone know how to insert an image directly?

Re: Phpbb Primetime

I have a problem with the calendar module. The month names seem to be not correct. October is displayed as the 11th month in the year (index.php?date=2009-11) and even if I click on the "next month" button, it does not change. It looks like only the name of the month is wrong, the correct date is di...

[3.0.6] Enable Quick Reply in all forums

Hello, I just upgraded my phpBB from 3.0.5 to 3.0.6. A very nice update-Feature! Due to this update, I uninstalled the Quick Reply mod to activate the new default quick reply option. But is there a way to activate this function in all forums at once (via MySQL?)? The manual way would take a lot of t...

User can create thread, but is not allowed to read subforum

Hello everybody, I already wrote my request in the thread title. Is it possible that a user can create Threads in a specified subforum, but is not allowed to see the content of the forum? So far, I tried to set the following permissions to the group: Can see forum --> Yes Can create Threads --> Yes ...

Re: Phpbb Primetime

My problem is already solved. I followed the instructions in the xml-files and updated step by step. With the current version, the installation ran successfully after creating the german language directories. By the way, is there already a german translation available? Otherwise, I could translate t...

Re: Phpbb Primetime

I also wanted to install the portal, but the cms_install.php did not work. Just two white lines. And now, I read your post that there is a newer version on your homepage. Actually, I have Version 1.0.0 and I want to update to 1.0.1 RC5. Do I have to follow every step in the five xml-files in /contri...

Re: Quick reply for phpBB3

Is it possible to "hide" the form, so that there is only a small button to click on? Actually, there's a kind of toggle button addon here , but I can't guarantee it's problem-free workability. Ah, thank you. But you are right, it does not work fine for me. I installed the mod correct I think, but t...
