Re: Moving all users into a group.

Is there an entry I can make in the Add Users Box to add ALL members into a group?

Right now I can only add 50 at a time from the Find a Member Link. And to get to page 40 of the users is not very easy!

Moving all users into a group.

We upgraded from phpbb2 to phpbb3. Everything looks good except for some reason we have about 200 users who aren't in any group. I can't figure out how to isolate them to move into a group so... I want to move ALL users into the Registered User Group and there by bringing the lost souls back into a ...

Re: [RC7] phpBB Digests

I used the Umil file. It installed the modules for the user panel, but not the admin panel. I run through the installation again and see where I went wrong. Here's another weird thing, and this happens everytime I upload the files in Digest 2.2.6 I lose ownership of several files, the owner is apach...

Re: [RC7] phpBB Digests

Install stuck at the DYI Section 4. Add a Digests interface to the Administration Control Panel I've completed all the tasks for installations successfully to this point using phpbb3.0.6 and Digest 2.2.6 When I try to add the modules the "General Settings", "Log settings " and "User default settings...

Re: phpBB Gallery

Do I need to move the photo files or anything else from the phpbb2 directory?
nickvergessen wrote:If your phpBB2 tables are not in the same database as the phpBB3 tables, you need to export/import them first.

Re: [RC6] Email Digests

Thanks, I did run the mail_digests.php I was having trouble getting my times lined up so I migrated the phpBB2 data over, (2000 users!) That way I was sure to have some digests sent out every hour for testing. The migration tool worked great by the way. My digest report doesn't show any dates or tim...

Re: [RC6] Email Digests

I made it through the install and ran the mail_digests.php from my browser. All I got was
Starting mail_digests.php
Ending mail_digests.php

Any ideas on what I'm missing? If no digests are mailed does it usually say 0 digests sent?
Thanks

Re: Database part of installation

I solved the sql question by going through the tutorial for mysqladmin here... http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=588697 I understand the install process except I'm not clear on the sql database changes. I copied the SQL code in step one into a text file and tried to import that int...

Re: Auto lock topic

I am trying to configure this so a topic will be locked within seconds after posting... and only in specified forums. Basically I want the user to post and then the topic to lock automatically so it cannot be replied to.

Any chance on getting a bit of help with the code for this??
Thanks

Database part of installation

I understand the install process except I'm not clear on the sql database changes. I copied the SQL code in step one into a text file and tried to import that into my database for phpbb3. Is that the correct method? I received this error message. Thanks. Error SQL query: CREATE TABLE [dbo].[phpbb_di...
