Re: Can anyone tell me what these 2 items are for in Prosilver responsive CSS

Hi Jodi,

Weird one. .cp-main is used in MCP and UCP, but there isn't a scenario where .forabg or .forumdb classes are used on those pages.

This looks like redundant code and can probably be safely deleted.

Re: Include reply in Topic reply notification email

Somewhere I think the suggestion has been misinterpreted. The OP doesn't appear to suggest increasing the number of notifications sent, rather when one is sent, it includes the relevant post content. It's probably perfectly OK to only notify an end-user of the first unread post (including its conten...

Re: Include reply in Topic reply notification email

... Nevertheless I still would prefer this to then materialize in form of an extension and not as part of the core, though. So: "no" not because I dislike the idea as such but for it being part of the core . Just playing some devil's advocate here, but as a community we should be cautious of using ...

Re: Relocating/Moving bbcode-status On Posting Page

Re: Spelling, phpBB uses EN-GB by default, but an EN-US language pack is available :)

As for the other problem, would you be able to share a link to your board? Thanks

Re: Relocating/Moving bbcode-status On Posting Page

Indeed :) phpBB has a feature called template inheritance (commonly known as parent/child themes in CMS'). It allows Style Authors to keep their designs lightweight and easy to update by inheriting any unmodified files from another style (in this case, prosilver). In your case, you could grab prosil...

Re: Darksunred 3.0.11

Hi Lasso :) Given the extent of changes between the 3.0x and 3.2x development branches, styles need to be re-written instead of being upgraded. It would be better to find a 3.2x style that closely resembles your design, or, attempt to re-colour prosilver 3.2x to look visually similar. Also worth not...

Re: prosilver se rounded border !! how to

Hello :)
To remove only the rounded corners on that element, find in common.css:

Code: Select all

.forabg {
    margin-bottom: 4px;
    padding: 5px;
    clear: both;
    border-radius: 7px;
}
Remove and border-radius property. Also repeat for .forumbg {.

Re: Responsive styles that are maintained?

A little self-promotion here, but premium styles are generally maintained extremely frequently given that they're premium (and if sold through a platform, the platform will hold the uploader to account for maintenance and support). With regards to my Milk style, the 3.2.2 update was submitted to The...

Re: How to get each forum have it's own banner

Okay, sweet! So, the way to do this would be through editing the template files. Open: /styles/*/template/viewforum_body.html Find: <h2 class="forum-title"><!-- EVENT viewforum_forum_name_prepend --><a href="{U_VIEW_FORUM}">{FORUM_NAME}</a><!-- EVENT viewforum_forum_name_append --></h2> This outputs...

Re: How to get each forum have it's own banner

Hi Dave, Just to clarify, where would you like the banner for each forum to appear? In the forum description on the index page, the global header, or below the header on the viewforum page? If you could attach a mockup of what you're looking for and where you'd like it to be, we'll be able to help y...

Interesting find, I'd never noticed this before.

You could force forum titles to underline by adding !important after underline and before ; :)

Ah, that would be this code in black.css:

Code: Select all

/** Unread link **/
a.unread, a.subforum.unread {
	color: #f04343;
}

Hello :) In /styles/black/template/viewforum_body.html, find: <a href="{topicrow.U_VIEW_TOPIC}" class="topictitle<!-- IF topicrow.S_UNREAD_TOPIC --> unread<!-- ENDIF -->">{topicrow.TOPIC_TITLE}</a> Replace with: <a href="{topicrow.U_VIEW_TOPIC}" class="topictitle">{topicrow.TOPIC_TITLE}</a> Repeat t...
