Re: [DEV] Adaptive > phpBB 3.3.10

Mere by DohTheme uses the same kind of list as can be seen here . And who do you think they copied that design from? Milk was published over a year before the Mere theme, archive.org records will confirm this. A broad visual likeness is enough to warrant copyright infringement, your design needs to...

Re: Post display issue

Great to hear! You're welcome.

You wouldn't be the first to comment on the pretty generous amounts of padding in Milk. Working on improving this in the future :mrgreen:

Re: Post display issue

To solve, open file: /styles/Milk_v2/theme/responsive.css

On line 595, find:

Code: Select all

width: calc(100% - 200px - 1px - 31px);
Change 200px to 201px. Then save the file, purge cache and clear browser cache.

Should solve the problem :)

Re: SEO?

the comment about needing better h1 tags etc. is a valid point.. Wow, do it in Milk :lol: :D Honestly I haven't done much research into how to optimise themes for SEO. It usually isn't a factor when people are deciding whether to buy my products. But if you can offer a resource that offers some bes...

Re: Which phpBB3 Styles would be best for SEO?

Almost all styles are re-colours of prosilver without any significant changes to the template.

I don't believe there are any SEO-optimised styles for the 3.3.x development branch.

Re: Sidebar in Prosilver 3.3

it doesn't display at 100% width as your item description on code canyon describes. I'm using phpBB 3.3.9. Hi there :) In the second picture you show, the container is 100% width but the image is a fixed width. The first image is photoshop :) . If you don't define a width for the content *inside* y...

Making repetitive schema changes without migration

Back-end novice here. Working locally on an unreleased extension. I outsourced the developent, but need to make quite a few changes to schema and configs. I'm capable of doing this, but I need to re-install the extension each time I want the changes to take effect. How can I set up my local environm...

Re: Always dropdown on mobile

Sure!

In buttons.css, find:

Code: Select all

.hasjs .postbody .post-buttons {
Increase the max-width value to something like 90% . Some trial and error might be necessary here.

Then clear your browser cache after making the change :)

Re: Always dropdown on mobile

Hello :) This occurs because Admins & Moderators have more post buttons. This makes the total number of buttons exceed the available width to show them, and so they appear in a drop-down. It's technically possible to always show everything in a drop-down, but 99.99% of your members would probabl...

Re: What is Happening with Chameleon?

It would be a good idea if phpBB, just built its own style from normal html and css. I’ve made plenty of websites with HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript for show / hide stuff. You don’t need to complicate things The reason this topic exists is because the front-end dev team tried ...

Re: What is Happening with Chameleon?

Tailwind would be wonderful. Tailwind UI would have been glorious on top of that, but the license terms don't permit re-distribution in themes :cry: Although I still think it's viable to release an unflattering default theme (a la wordpress) and let the community run riot with it. I suspect phpBB wo...
