Re: [RC]phpBB Chat Module 2.0 of 123 Flash Chat

The ads is a bit annoying, but please be assured there won't be more in the future, lol. Well since you've made that promise publicly users might just hold you to that! hehe. To save your husband from developing a chat software, you are suggested to follow the second link in the initial ads, becaus...

Re: [RC]phpBB Chat Module 2.0 of 123 Flash Chat

That's true, text ads will appear in the free hosted, but only once, still acceptable to most of the users, right? The paid version is not so expensive, for $30 per month, you get fancier features, stable hosting and professional tech support. Sorry that you'll move on to some open source chat, sti...

Re: [RC]phpBB Chat Module 2.0 of 123 Flash Chat

Well at this point I'm not going to bother uploading the buggy php file just to get the error code again. I just reverted back to the original php file. Now the chat works properly, but the stats don't show properly on the home page again (so it's back to the way it was). At this point I don't think...

Re: [RC]phpBB Chat Module 2.0 of 123 Flash Chat

Hi Lizzy, Can you explain how it's in the wrong place and where it should be? Thx. I tried the new code in the function_fchat.php file and it threw a bunch of errors in the chat box. The chat still worked, but with errors on the top of the page for five or six rows. (Something about the header, I wo...

Re: [RC]phpBB Chat Module 2.0 of 123 Flash Chat

Thanks for your quick response, Lizzy. I tried what you said, and now this is all I get, even when I'm logged into the chat: Online users: ('None Here's the code. Please tell me if anything looks wrong: case 2: $status_js = "http://free.123flashchat.com/freeroomnum.php?roomname=" . $config['fc_room'...

Re: [RC]phpBB Chat Module 2.0 of 123 Flash Chat

Thanks for this mod. I've installed it and it's working great. I love the graphic options and the speed of the posting. I am having a minor problem with the stats on my home page. This is how they look: Login users 0 Online users: ('User, User (I've replaced the usernames with "user".) But you can s...

Re: Karma MOD

Thank you for this mod. It's working great on my forum. A few things I'd love to see in future releases: - An option in the ACP to turn off negative karma - An option in the ACP to set a different maximum number for negative karma and positive karma - A report button so that users can repo...

Re: Soft Delete

I'm having some trouble getting this mod to work, and am hoping you can help. I'm running PHPBB 3.0.6, and am doing a manual install of the mod. Here is the error I'm getting: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_DOUBLE_ARROW in [mywebsite.com]\viewtopic.php on line 1602 Here is the code that was...

Re: Error: [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/

Ha, I found this thread when searching for help with the exact same problem I had with a new page I just created, but I managed to figure out the problem on my own. So here's what worked: Go to line 1 of common.php. It should be <?php Make sure there are absolutely NO spaces before or after it. That...

Re: Post number in viewtopic

This mod is exactly what I've been looking for. So far I'm not having any luck getting it to work, which is surprising since it's quite strait forward and simple compared to others I've installed. My forum is using 3.0.6. The one thing that I can think of that I may have misunderstood is the edit to...

Re: Genders

I don't know if anyone can help me this late in the game, but here goes. I have this mod installed on 3.0.6 and it all works fine except newly registered members are defaulting to male instead of non-specified. I tried the suggested adjustment to ucp_profile_profile_info.html from page 43: In membe...
