Re: Restrict access to post after...

I am just suggesting a mod like topic restriction to be made that will restrict access to a post after viewing 3 posts if the user is not signed in

Restrict access to post after...

Right now I have Topic Restriction installed on my phpbb. I have it set that a user has to be logged in to see the posts, but they can still see the topic titles in the forum.

I want it set so that a user can see 1,2, or 3 posts and then have to log in to read more posts. Can anyone help me?

Topic Restriction after 1/2/3 posts

I know there is a mod out called "topic restriction" that does not let guests view forum threads. I need a mod that will do essentially this, but do so after the guest is able to see 1/2/3 forum threads first. This would be very useful to a lot of us out here. Is there any way possible to modify the...

Re: [RC] Share On Facebook, Twitter ... 1.0.2

I have a problem with this mod in conjunction with the mod Restricted Topics. What restricted topics does is it doesnt let guests view any posts and redirects them to the login page. Now when I try to use share on for a post, it always has the the login page as what is going to be posted on facebook...

Problem with Who is online for specific forums

For some reason, the section on a forum where there is "Who is Online" doesnt change. It always has this said or my username if I am logged in: Users browsing this forum: No registered users and 1 guest I know there are more than 1 guest on that specific forum for a fact. But this value doesnt change.

Restricting access after the first 3 posts are viewed

I have installed this mod: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1690915 which restricts access if you are not registered to the site. I was wondering if I could tweak this mod, or make any change that would allow me to restrict access reading the posts after the first 3 threads are viewed.

Re: Group forum permissions: see topics but not posts

thanks for the reply, the mod works perfectly. However, when i click on a topic, it just goes to the login/register page without notifying the guest why he can't see the topic. Is it possibly to add a line of text saying you need to be logged in to view this topic?

Re: Need an Invite only registration system

That works however is there a way i could get rid of the text that automatically appears after it: "This question is a means of identifying and preventing automated submissions."

Also, can anyone else find a mod that allows users to invite others to register

Need an Invite only registration system

I have tried searching, but have come across mods that use phpbb 3.8 and others that are only for PHPBB2. Is there a mod that I can use in phpbb 3.6 that has an invite only system where I (or other users if possible) can send an invite via email to join the forum and only they can register? If there...

Group forum permissions: see topics but not posts

I dont think it is possible to set a groups forum permissions so that they can see the topics within the forum but not the actual content inside the topic itself. So is there any way (like adding code in places) where I can set the permissions of a guest so that they can see the topics but cant acce...

Re: Have the log me in button checked automattically?

Alright thanks. So now I have a lot of changes made through adm so what can I do to copy that all to the files. Can I export the template and replace the files trough FTP?

Also where do I add the checked=checked? If I do it in the index body that doesn't change the ucp login page

Re: Have the log me in button checked automattically?

Where do I add that in the code? And now since I have already made a lot of changes through acp, how can I make are the changes get hardcoded into the actual files?

Have the log me in button checked automattically?

I was wondering how i would have the "Log me on automatically each visit" checked automatically. If I have to refresh the template after I change some stuff, how do I make sure the code i changed via the adm will be hardcoded? Everytime I refresh the template something changes on my template and my ...

Two phpbb forums, same users

What I want to do is have two separate phpbb forums on two different subdomains. However, I would like when a user registers for one of the forums, he is already registered for the other forum and vice versa. Also, I want when they log into one forum they are automatically logged into the other. Is ...
