[Solved] Disable Save (topic) function?

My users seem to get confused by the Save button when posting topics. My users are mostly older (as in retired) and it seems the logic is that "save" means "I am done with my post and now I want to save it to the web". I have tried changing the wording a little on the buttons but that kinda complica...

Re: ACP Add User MOD

Noiselab's wording is a lot more precise (and accurate). One example in the DIY instructions is that it tells you to go to ACP > Users > Groups > Users when in fact the path is ACP -> Users and Groups -> Users . When you know where to go it looks like a petty detail but when you don't it looks like ...

Re: TAB's that are highlighted after you click them?

WOW! Super -thanks Raimon! The forum tabs are now highlighted throughout the forum pages without the use of my dirty hack! Bookmarking a page looks much better now! =) You learn something new every day, that OR thing was pretty sweet! Again thanks, Master Rai! But I think I must have been unclear ab...

Re: ACP Add User MOD

Thanks Noiselab! It seems the instructions are a little bit out-dated. I kinda figured it out but with your help I could confidently apply them!

Re: TAB's that are highlighted after you click them?

I think I'm on my way here. In posting.php I found the following snippet of code; switch ($mode) { case 'post': $page_title = $user->lang['POST_TOPIC']; break; case 'quote': case 'reply': $page_title = $user->lang['POST_REPLY']; break; case 'delete': case 'edit': $page_title = $user->lang['EDIT_POST...

Changing link colors on specific links - how?

I want to change the color on a few specific links, like the ones on the overall_footer.html for instance, because they clash with my other theme colors.

How do I go about changing the color of a (or sets of) links?

Re: TAB's that are highlighted after you click them?

I just noticed that the forum tab is turned "off" once I go further into the forum. It works great for the forum index (because the title matches the one in the overall_header) but once I move further into the forum the page title changes (like this site would say "Community Home" on the index, but ...

Re: Log in then automatically logged out

No, moving the whole thing to a new computer didn't work. In fact I'm not even able to install the board in the new DB, as I need to be logged in to complete it. I'll redo my whole board from scratch. But I'm still interested what could be causing this as it must have been some very minor change in ...

Re: Log in then automatically logged out

Theoretically speaking; what could be causing this? I'll try to move the whole board to a different computer tomorrow to see if that helps.

Re: Log in then automatically logged out

I tried installing a new board with a new database, and then it works, so something in either my files or in the database must've caused this. Anybody got an idea what could be wrong here?
