Re: All users unable to log in

Sounds like a cookie issue. Look at solution 2 or 3 (if you have phpMyAdmin access to the database) here:

Wouldn't it be easier just downloading a fresh 3.0.6 package with a "clean" ucp.php file included and upload that?

Re: Getting user email addresses as a text file

Well, I've successfully followed the directions to get to the window where I can paste the code. When I do that, and then ask for a CSV export, I get a huge file that contains pretty much everything about the board, with the user email addresses buried somewhere deep inside it. Any more specific ad...

It's very common that it will run into server timeouts with large databases. Of course, it's posssible to back up a few tables at a time instead, but that doesn't help if the posts table is still very large.

Re: restore to new domain and web host help?

My server that I have been using for years decided to "shut down" and re-open under a new name. Then they made me purchase new hosting from them even though I still had 9 months left on other hosting package. I would have merely switched hosting companies except for I needed my forum's database. I ...

Shouldn't it be enough to set forums to display them (forum_type = 1)?

Re: Upgraded to 3.0.6: "active topics" list always empty

You can do it automatically with phpMyAdmin or if you have shell access to the MySQL server.

Both of the listed queries work fine.

Re: [3.0.6] Enable Quick Reply in all forums

The better way to do it (mySQL) is UPDATE phpbb_forums SET forum_flags = (forum_flags | 64) WHERE forum_type = 1 Indeed, it does exactly the same as: UPDATE phpbb_forums SET forum_flags = forum_flags + 64 WHERE forum_type = 1 AND forum_flags & 64 <> 64 But is shorter and more intuitive. x & 64 <> 1...

Re: auto login problems :(

Have you deleted all old cookies for the domain (you can do it specifically for the domain in FF and Chrome) and checked the cookie settings in the ACP?

Re: [3.0.6] Enable Quick Reply in all forums

Not that familiar with the forum_flags column, but shouldn't the last condition be: AND forum_flags & 64 <> 64 So everyone who tried that has problems now? :) In my forum a lot of records were updated when running this query... No, no, it shouldn't really cause any problems. Most of your forum_flag...

Okay, didn't know you were connecting through PHP. Have you tried specifying the port as being 5432 instead of leaving it blank?

Re: Email Verification Issue

Well, if there are some bad boys on the same C-net or AS, that might have something to do with it.

Maybe you could have a look here to see if there are any issues with the IP.

It's nothing serious. This should fix it:

Summary: Make a copy of the 'en' folder and rename it to 'en_us'. Upload it to the imageset folder for that style

Re: No Connection & No Error message

Have you checked which port it is listening on in postgresql.conf? Should normally be 5432. Another idea might be to create a simple PHP script opening a connection to the server. If that doesn't work, then it's not related to phpBB.
