topics do not open

Since the latest patch I am having problems with topic not being able to be opened up. This appears to be quite random and the topic can only be opened after I go into the mysql database and delete it. Any thoughts or ideas?

Thanks,

Due to security concerns the search function was changed and will not accept anything under 3 charachters. This is causing a lot of issues like this. You can use the search.php file from 2.0.13 to resolve this, however there are DoS scripts out that try to overload your server using short names for...

The member name is OS and has been a member for quite some time and have never had problems until this point. I tried a sql repair but it did not come up with anything.

Very wierd problem. There is one member on my board that we recently had some problems with. The member made a post and nonone could open this one particular post. The browser would just just hang. Same with accessing the member's online profile. After a while the problem seemed to go away and now w...

portal question

I am looking at possibly using a portal for my site. What do you recommend as a good portal with easy to use content management? What I envision is some select users to be able to write articles and have them upload to the main page of the portal. Is this possible?

Thanks,

I have installed the cash mod on my board and when users try to post anything they get the following error message - Parse error: parse error, unexpected '=' in /home/sensne2/public_html/forum/posting.php on line 249 Thankfully I keep a backup of all files. Anyway here is the coding from posting.php...

I installed it and its not working for me. The latest member that registered has this in their profile - Registration IP Address: 0.0.0.0 I noticed that when I tried to edit the mysql table for this mod, for some reason it would not take the CHAR setting. It would automatically revert to the VARCHAR...

Thanks. That works. The only other little problem is that the right click menu does not reflect the changes I made in the ACP. eg I replaced the FAQ link with a Fantasy Sports mod link but the FAQ is still showing up and linking to the FAQ page instead of going to the sports page.

What am I missing here? I downloaded and installed via the Easymod way. The sql was installed ok and everything appears to be there but when i right click on the forum I get the usual windows right click menu and not the custom one. Does it need to be enabled somewhere?

Thanks.
